The investigation of electrical energy
We have calculated that the house we have installed for electrical power. Energy installed 79 pieces of light bulbs with an average power 75 W / bulb.
Furthermore, we estimated that on average every 4 h light / day. Price el. energy for 1 kWh = 3.80 CZK.
The next step, we performed the following conservation measures:
a) Some of the bulbs we dismantled it and we have reduced the number of installed bulbs at 57 pc
b) We have reduced the purchase of new lighting fixtures to their average power of 60 watts / bulb
Calculation:
79 x 75 = 5925 watts 5925 x 4 = 23700 Wh = 23.70 kWh / day
57 x 60 = 3420 watts 3420 x 4 = 13680 Wh = 13.68 kWh / day
Savings in kWh: 23.70 to 13.68 = 10.02 kWh / day
Saving in CZK: 10.02 x 3.80 = 38 076 CZK / day
Saving in CZK / year: year = 365 days 365 x 38 076 = 13 897.74 CZK
For the year, thus saving 13 897.74 CZK at a constant price el. energy and the average time of 4 h light / day.
